EDIT : Stop being rude with each others, debating is ok, but I disagree with insults. TTS’s song : EYES is definitively inspired by Ariana’s Problem. Is inspiration a big deal ? – No. …

JiEun WhipCream says:

Problem is better to me.

Emily Chung says:

no hate to the video, but when i saw ariana’s clothing i was like hmm
pretty close to snsd hoot but i didnt even think of her copying snsd, but
why is that when a korean with similar clothing or something we assume that
they copied? maybe they just wanted to do it cos it went well with the
song, but i do admit these song sound soo similar but sm would never risk
their ass, they wouldve bought copyright or something

Ashley Severa says:

WTF why they copy Ariana’s song ?

Gerson CT says:

yo pensé lo mismo al principio luego me dí cuenta que EYES es mucho mejor y
no se parece en nada :)

Calista Fok says:

For some reasons I keep mistaking Ariana grande’s voice for Seohyun’s and
vice versa but they don’t even sound alike… The songs were picked by Snsd
themselves and Tiffany is Ariana’s fan so… And she is the visual director
she might have been inspired by Ariana for the holler outfit?

Dixon Alexis says:

So sad to see this, Why SM do this? i now is not copycate, but this is
gonna be a fanwar maybe sone and arianators hiksss

Osnapitz anna says:

I like Taetiseo but I love Ariana so in MY OPINION I love Ari’s waaaay more
they’re much better. Besides, Problem released first before Eyes does soo
IF THERE IS a ‘plagiarism’, I think we all know who’s it from~

andrew T says:

both songs have similar melodies but that is about it. The lyrics tho, TTS
had a better one to write for theirs.

cottontailcreeper says:

Problem sounds familiar, but I don’t like it.

yumita amanda says:

If this is a plagiarism why the management of Ariana Grande not make some
complaint or some protest.. this is absolutely different, just because
seohyun was sang a problem song some people have a think that SM was
copied. They just have a same of the genre (Up Beat genre).. just like
little thing by one direction and pray by JB was a mellow genre

Tiffaneh Q. says:

The saxophone sound seems to be really popular right now, so it’s not
surprising that a lot of songs have that. Also, plenty of songs sound the
same, whether it’s in the US or Korea. Run Devil Run was also a direct
Korean version of Kesha’s song (SM bought it so it’s not plagiarism) and
people loved it, so why don’t we leave EYES alone? I actually kind of wish
that Ariana and TTS would do some sort of mashup performance.

Nurin Wachidah says:

finally i found this one. before, i felt something same among EYES and
PROBLEM. but I dunno what to say, is it plagiarism or not? the melody just
the same (but i think it’s not reach the limit of 8 bars melody) . but
both of EYES and PROBLEM have their own characteristic. and both of them so
ear-catching :D

dee v says:

actually yeah its 80% similar, i am sone and i cant deny it

TaeyeonDukkong says:

I wonder how you make this with ariana sound in left ear and tts in right
ear haha…
anyway…
I just can’t see the similarities between the two…. *confused…
and thanks for this video that I can kinda see why I thought so…

Luke Henry says:

This has happened before, Problem was not written for or by Ariana Grande,
neither was Eyes. The arrangements must have been sold to multiple music
companies.

ghina fazza says:

i like eyes more

ericeasyeyang says:

The slow chorus sounds similar but the saxes are played at a different pace
and the beats in EYES is faster than Problem trust me I know I listened to
problem a shit load of times and I didnt even think that eyes sounded
similar when I heard it.

Joyce Kim says:

I’m not surprise if SM bought the copyright from Problem’s writer. Just
sayin’

yiuume says:

cant hear tts because ariana is screaming

sakuyamibu09 says:

Plagiarism is when a song has minimum same 8 bars melody to another song.
Anyone can say if it’s really plagiarism? Am not an expert.

다비나 L says:

You like eyes more but which song was more successful XD XD!!

Lizzixoxo says:

the outfits from tts are from the song Hoot MV

yaellolo3 says:

First thing I thought about after listening to Eyes…
I guess sm bought the concept or something because seohyun also performed
Problem live… I still like Eyes eventhoughThey made it ridiculously
similar..!

Seungshin Lee says:

tts’ version is far better though

Chen Tom says:

totally plagiarism right there

Susan Evans says:

TTS is crazy,, SM is more crazy

Troy Bolton says:

all i can say is that the verses sound similar and that’s it really

abdiikhlover says:

Both songs are good. Thats all.

michelle shea says:

Not saying it is plagiarism or not, but I think this two songs just matches
sooo well as a remix :)

2ne1/apink@gracia says:

Like problem

RebelNightWolfe says:

Lol at all the hate. Just enjoy the songs. They’re both great songs. You
either like either or, or both or not at all. :)

Emily Poulton says:

The beat is exactly the same wtf

Juliana Ming Tsu says:

Hoot (the same outfits) is older than problem. So SNSD didn’t copied Ariana
Grande outfits

Laila Farhana says:

HAHA basically this is like mashup of AG problem & TTS eyes

tinkerbella8290 says:

to me they don’t sound the same… maybe the sax parts but other than that
the structure of the song is different … idk maybe i’m deaf .. they do
have similar sounds but they are not the same..

leyaniRocks says:

I prefer Eyes -tts <33333333

PrettyPrincess2614 says:

Please, no one bash either of the artists. I’m a fan of both. They’re both
talented and had no part in creating the music. Let’s all stay civil,
please!

diakeeley says:

I agree they sound very similar. But all the similar points that stand out
to me most aren’t exactly unique features to these specific songs. Tempo
and drum loops are very similar but most popular songs share this trait.
The structure of the first half of each songs is pretty much the same, 8
bar verse (not including intro) then 4 bar pre chorus or bridge etc but
this could be said for a lot of songs. Eyes is definitely strongly
influenced by Problem but I would not go as far to say it plagiarised it.
Different key, different sound and melody to the saxophone, lyrical
structures also get more and more dissimilar as the songs go on… If we
said most pop songs that sound similar these days that they were
plagiarised, we’d have barely any songs left :) Just my thought process
here so don’t hate me, both songs are equally good for their own merits and
I would think of it as a compliment that TTS liked Problem so much that
they were greatly influenced by it ^_^

putri nabila says:

It’s great!!

Ruby Vidal says:

First off when I heard EYES I was like hey this resembles Problem but in a
different note and time signature but whatever from what I understand its
like a homage dedicated to Ariana Grande and I couldn’t care less about
plagiarism because SM has money and they buy the rights to the song. I
don’t understand is why these “kids” abuse the damn word and take it out of
context.

Gabriel Lee says:

It’s not plagiarism. Just both are not the same but just similar in terms
of structures and instruments. When I listened to this song at first, I
thought ‘Wow, this is like ‘Problem’.’ I understand your thought but it
could not be plagiarism. I roamed many composers make a song like that way.
Probably a composer of that song(EYES) might be listened to the
song(Problem). I think he or she has to be guilty.

David Minion says:

It’s similar enough that people recognize elements of Problem from the
song. While I don’t think it’s blatant plagiarism, you can’t blame people
for discussing about it.

happyforeverjoy says:

I’m a fan of snsd but those who say the two songs are “nothing alike” are
just in major denial. Or they’re deaf.
It’s not 100% the same but if you’re saying they’re not similar… *puts
hands out in wtf sign* uh… you have hearing issues?
But I mean, they’re not in trouble for releasing a song similar to Problem
so I guess it’s ok for now :)

Sophia K says:

i dont think they’re similar at all… TaeTiSeo hwaiting! ^^

별빛꿀벌웽웽 says:

도입부가 비슷하다 뒷부분은 별로 안그런데?

김지유 says:

안똑같은데

maricela m says:

Not the same

Daniela Esquivel says:

are similar but more likely, your company purchased the TTS copyright ;)

Natznatzification says:

Dunno, doesn’t sound similar to me. TTS’ version is waaay better. And no,
I’m not biased
