I think Hyoyeon is the only one in the group who can really rap. I think
she’s good at it to, and I have a pretty low tolerance for rapping in
general.
This song actually made me like kpop! I give the boys the credit ;)

I agree with you *shrug* this song was, as you so eloquently put it,
MONKEYBALLS AWFUL. Ew.
However, I must disagree with you when you say only Hoot had one clear male
lead: Gee had Minho from SHINee and Kissing You had Donghae from Super
Junior
It’s weird how many ppl don’t like “The boys” and it’s my first song and my
favorite o.o It introduced me more into Kpop after F(x)’s “Hot Summer”. It
made me dig deeper and find other Kpop groups and bla bla.
I liked the singing, but the rapping… is a no. and was there any Korean
in this song?

i know that you guys hate it when snsd raps but i know you guys like run
devil run where there’s a rapping part…don’t hate you guys but that was a
bit hypocritical

I thought the song wasn’t so bad, their rappings ok aswell I don’t really
know since I don’t listen to rap. they appear really fierce too like the
song. but yeah the setting is so boring…
I can definitely understand why it didn’t make it in the US…..its too
self-praising!!! The song would make sense being sung in korea since
they’re known as the top girl group there but in the US??? They’re debuting
there so they need to be a bit humble…but it doesn’t matter they have
tons of US fans even without having to officially have a debut there
i am a god damn hardcore sone. seriously! i just love this girls with all
my heart, mind and soul! but god dammit… this song was just so bad…i
cant even describe it. it is the only snsd song i ALWAYS skip when it comes
up on shuffle mode. and thats fine. you dont need to like ALL their
freaking songs (no matter who’s the artist, or if it is your favorite
artist ever). you dont need to take in every little song they throw at you.
i reeeeaaaally liked the rest of the album (*ALL* songs except the boys)
(*in my opinion obviously*).

its also good to know that eyk likes snsd and listen to their songs a lot
cause sometimes i feel like they are kind of harsh with them (at least on

They are so right about the randomness of the video. It doesn’t fit the
lyrics of the song at all. I thought the same thing when I watched it for
the first time. Before I even saw this.
I was confused by Martina’s hatred until they said they were reviewing the
English version. Ugh.
Well, Yoona and Hyoyeon arent the best singers , so they rap
But what about hyoyeons rap in max step? She sounded pretty badass to me.

I prefer the English one cause I heard it first when they played it on
Letterman and it just got stuck in my head haha, plus I like it when I can
sing along to a whole song and it’s in English so yeah

the Korean one is okay but ehh I don’t listen to the English one .. just

I love how you can see Martina running around Simon when she did the 360
degree camera bit. Also, I love this song. It’s not that great, I admit,
but it’s catchy and I love sexy SNSD. Them being cutesy is just blah for
me, even though I love Gee. It just doesn’t feel right.
I’m pretty sure they weren’t rapping. To me it sounded like they were just
chanting it or something. Or maybe that’s just me.
