the group on different Korean broadcast outlets. This was especially true
between debut and when Gee became a huge hit as SM was promoting the heck
out of them with interviews, day-in-the life shows, etc. Your best bet
would be to hit the forums at Soshified or one of the SNSD-centric fansites
as someone there would almost certainly know the name of the show or be
able to point you to the full video.

they were explaining that Seohyun’s real name was Seo Ju Hyun and for some
reasons they took out the middle character and shortened to Seo-Hyun
(without the Ju). Hence Taeyeon joked that “kids, don’t do this!”. It’s a
stage name, maybe Seo Juhyun sounded like another actress or singer already
out there.

@yamcy23 because in Korea, their names are supposed to be 3 syllabus. But
because snsd are idols, to make their names more feminine, they changed
their names. When they changed their name, it is called stage name which
means they are called by their stage name by their fans… When they are
called by their real name, they get embarrassed because they are not used
to it… Hope it helps

Tiffany’s surname is Hwang. When written in Korean, the full name is Hwang
Mi Young (3 characters). Her given English name is Stephanie, but there was
already a “Stephanie Kim” who debuted earlier with CSJH in the company, so
she decided to use “Tiffany” as stage name. She said that “Tiffany” was her
late mother’s choice but her dad decided to name her Stephanie.

To clarify to those who are getting confused, Jessica is Jessica’s real
name. She just has a Korean name tht is Sooyeon. Tiffany’s real name is
Stephanie. Her deceased mom had wanted to name her Tiffany but her dad
wanted Stephanie so her parents ended up going wid tht. but when she moved
to Korea, she debuted wid Tiffany’s
