Yes, SM confirmed that EXO Baekhyun and SNSD Taeyeon are in a relationship.
They have expressed interest in each other starting from last October when
Baekhyun continuously stated that he’s ideal type is Taeyeon. Taeyeon
hearing this took care of Baekhyun and listened all of his concerns as a
close SM sunbae. They started dating each other from February and it has
been four months.

Some of the fans which are not Korean may not know but many fans guessed
that they were dating starting from few months ago even before SM approved.
They uploaded in their instagrams photos taken in the same posture, they
have couple sunglasses, headphones, bracelets etc. Furthermore, Baekhyun
gave a birthday cake on Taeyeon’s BD during Inkigayo and if you closely
look at the candles it reads ‘BH’ short for Baekhyun (although I think it’s
short for Happy Birthday). Taeyeon in her Instagram uploaded a post saying
“As always, you make me crazy” with a picture of Oreo – a cookie. The color
of the cookie is white & black which in Chinese reads “Baek” “Hyun”. There
were numerous evidences so Korean EXO fans kind of realized – but i guess
they hoped it wouldn’t be approved as “real”.

SM approved it on the 19th (today) when DISPATCH uploaded posts of Baekhyun
and Taeyeon kissing in her open car at night. It was reported that they
enjoyed drives during the night and that they mostly dated in taeyeon’s
car.

Korean fans are kind of shocked and Baekhyun and Taeyeon are being
insulted. This is because of the fact that Kris of EXO left the group and
that EXO is in a dangerous, unstable state. However, Baekhyun neglected it
and dated, not thinking of the fans which were worried about him being hurt
after the Kris incident and his health condition due to all the work.
Furthermore, in a recent interview he said “I’m not going to date until I’m
over thirty – I don’t think it’s the time and I’m going to think of my fans
first” – the fans were touched at those words and they adamantly believed
he thought about them. However, now he’s dating and his fans who believed
in him feel betrayed. Seeing Taeyeon, she was also popular for taking good
care of her fans, and many insult her to have betrayed her fans similar to
Baekhyun.

I, too, like EXO Baekhyun a lot but I don’t think it’s rational to insult
Baekhyun or Taeyeon. They are humans; THEY HAVE FEELINGS. Surely they could
love someone and have the determination to express that they do. Although I
was first taken aback when I heard the news today morning I’m very happy
for them and I hope they become a great couple, supported by many fans. EXO
& SNSD fans must remember that if you truly love them as a fan, then you
wish for their happiness and support them. I’m giving an applause to both
of them for being brave and I really hope they don’t become hurt due to
comments made by fans which are not really “fans”, insulting them just
because they are loving one another.

I would understand if others felt sad or lonely even, but hating on Tae or
Baek is just plain IMMATURE.
