Actually, Yeri was casted for red velvet even before joy… she just didn’t
debut together with the other members because she was too young when rv
debuted.
I don’t have anything against Yeri, but I always notice that her talent
isn’t on par when looking at them performing live or her singing. I still
think she is a great asset to red velvet…but I can’t deny her talent
doesn’t compare in both rapping, dancing, and singing. However, I have
heard that she has trained a great deal – to the point that even EXO used
to train with her and everyone knows her. So I’m guessing she got to where
she is now because of hard work and determination and SM saw that.
Lol I’m just saying that sunny’s voice is a lot better than some other kpop
stars these days

she moved back so iirc i think she trained among the longest of any snsd

and everyone knows red velvet was debuted when they did to cover up f(x)
and sulli and allegedly yeri was meant to debut then but, if she had,
there’d be a curfew on red velvet since she was 15 at the time (or young
enough to be effected by the curfew) n the last thing sm would’ve wanted
when trying to divert attention is any restrictions – hence why she debuted
with them later. but idk, totally irrelevant (:
Here’s for the people who’s asking why they added yeri in red velvet later
in their debut and was salty about it.
RV was originally supposedly to debut as a five member group but yeri was a
minor at the timw so they had to delay her debut. I think the debut age was
17 or something. I know you’re wondering how about nct dream they debuted
before the age of 17. yes they did but they had more limits and
restrictions. they didnt want to debut yeri at the time bc it will cause
difficulties with her age when promoting. I must say it was one of the
dumbest decision sm ever made. And for the fact they had to debut red
velvet in 2014 when supposedly in 2015? (not sure) was because of the many
scandal they had during that year.
okay now? got it? stop being salty about it and accept the fact that yeri
is part of rv.
Snsd and rv will never perfect without both of them.
Sunny’s vocals aren’t unbelievably great but they aren’t shabby…. They
are at least better than average.

Sunny has one of the best voices of SNSD and she is really talented. If
you’re able to give concerts for hours straight and dance in front of
millions of people then you are really talented.
I thought the reason that yeri joined late was cause that she was too young

She may be young,and not as trained as her members. But she has her own

lovable, and friendly. She may make jokes and tease her fellow members but

Haters keep forgetting that pre-debut Red Velvet was going to be 5 and
probably debut in 2015. Their debut was hastily made to cover up *interesting
departures* from SM. Due to the fast debut, Yeri was too young to join the
group and thus they added her when she was old enough.
Yeri was already planned to be in red velvet but rv debuted to early
because sm wanted to calm knetz down because at the time there was an issue
with a gg member leaving and the fx ordeal, thats why sm released rv but
yeri was still young to be legaly working, theres a law in soukor that a
child 16 below is not allowed to work, yeri was 15 at the time thats why a
year later on their icecream cake comeback yeri was added because she can
now legaly work because shes now 16 at the time

What they said about yeri is true though, especially this recent comebacks

Dude Yeri trained when she was in 5th grade and she had trained longer than
the fellow RV members. She was a kid when she joined and she was a complete
package. Also when ur really young, it’s even better cos sm can completely
train u as u grow up. That’s basically what happened with Yeri. I don’t
know why everyone is making a big deal. There’s no point in investigating.
