Okay, for a few of you here who are blasting SONES because the views aren’t
up for Yuri’s solo single. First of all, this an SM Station release – not
an actual solo release like Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun had. So there was
no heavy promotion. I, myself, literally only heard about it 2 days before
its release. And second, you can’t hate on people because they have a
favorite in the group and then call them not true fans, because they’re not
going psycho supportive over your bias. Is it the other members’ fault that
Yuri isn’t getting millions of views in one day? No, so calm down and save
all this energy for when Yuri actually does a solo album. If this is
anything to go by, SM would be crazy not to see the potential in having her
record a mini-album. Also, views aren’t the end all and be all, because
YouTube only counts your view once. You can watch it all day long without
watching something else and it’ll still only count that one view. And then
after a while, when you clear your watch history, they may count your view
again when you watch it again. So don’t rely on YouTube views to gauge her
popularity with this song. Actually buy the single, don’t download it for
free…
@SM pairing Yuri up with a random guy at the end of the video doesn’t
negate Yuri and her harem of girlfriends throughout the rest of the video.

Everyone keeps commenting about the music video being off. What’s so off
about it? There’s diversity, there’s dancing in a club, there’s sexy Yuri
being…sexy. What do you want? It’s a different concept for her and if
she’s satisfied with it why not just support her? I think everyone is so
used to seeing KPOP idols being stuck inside of a certain race box where
everyone is Asian and as soon as there’s a few foreigners in music videos
everyone loses their minds. Remember, Asian entertainment agencies want to
market their music brands worldwide. If they don’t experiment with
different ideas and concepts things will get boring really quick.
Think of this as a fresh start for branching out of the expected Asian
concepts.
