Catch Me If You Can is by far the best Girls Generation song from the last few years. This is a fantastic comeback and it is just what the gorup needed to put the scandal of 2014 far behind…

I had the exact opposite reaction to what you stated. I Got a Boy was the
song that sucked me into K-Pop, but this song didn’t seem to go anywhere
for me. The dance was amazing and I loved the dance line of the group
managed to get a good amount of lines this time around, but it seemed just
lackluster overall.

The fact that you’re wearing a Mayhem shirt makes you awesome. Glad to find
more people who love both K-pop and metal.

the first song i heard by snsd was gee (shocker, right? :p) so i obviously
had to check out this video as soon as it was released! the video and
choreography was amazing as expected, but the fact that they really focused
on it was a daring choice that really seems to have paid off. many artists
these days arent that great of dancers so this really blew me away. sadly,
im not a big fan of the song, but it was a great video. ps sooyoung <3 <3

lol I bet SNSD found these highheel boots to be the easiest EVER to dance
in, after doing a million dances in thin, 20cm-tall highheels for years.
I’m glad they wore boots not just because it suits the concept, but doing
this intense dancing in highheels would hurt sooooo much I can’t even
imagine.

Treadstone Operative says:

*One of the reasons why SNSD is a legendary girl group is because they can
dance, really dance. I followed SNSD since Into The New World in 2007 and
over the years, people started accusing SNSD of being only pretty faces,
riding on their fame with nothing to show for it.*

*And SNSD showed why they are still on top of their game in this MV,
literally slapping critics in the mouths for saying they are too old to
dance well. This choreography is even more complicated than INTW debut
dance and I saw breathtaking formation changes, footwork, seamlessly
responding to camera pans, and really powerful moves that would leave many
breathless watching, let alone cover it.*

*Great reaction video and you earned one like for it from me.*

Marcela Borges says:

I think this Korean release sounds better than their previous Korean ones
because this is originally a Japanese release that they made a kor. version
as well. Their Japanese releases have so much more quality than the Korean
ones so if you have a chance just listen to a few of their Japanese ones
and you’ll notice the difference. Great reaction!

It don’t mater his stubern someone is or how hard they try not loving snsd
at some point (most rite away) you will realize what gg is and what talents
they have and either be a continued follower or a SONE! they are many
things. Beautiful talented amaizing etc… But either word you use to
describe them you can’t leave out ICONIC!

MrBabylonandon says:

Its good … I still think that the Black Swan version of RUN DEVIL RUN
they did in 2011 Tokyo was their very best song … especially when you
added Taeyeon doing the intro DEVIL’S CRY.

Great reaction. I too am loving this new song & video. It is by far the
strongest dancing GG has ever done….it is on par with what a lot of the
male idol groups do. Not many female idol groups can dance with such
ferocity….love it.

It is surprising that you are not that much into GG. Loving Kpop and not
GG is like loving 60′s music but not the Beatles. They are Koreas national
girl group…they represent Kpop on the world stage more than anyone
else….no better time to get on this train than now…welcome aboard.

It is kind of unfortunate that your first introduction to GG was “I got a
boy.” I personally love the song, but for GG, it was a very experimental
song. When it was released, the international fans and media mostly loved
it. America’s Billboard magazine called it “a modern day Bohemian
Rhapsody.” In Korea, fans were split….many did not want to see GG grow
up and try new things….some wanted to keep them in dresses waving
lollipops. Last year’s “Mr. Mr” was a good release, though it was
certainly not the best song on the album.

That brings us to the last topic…Japanese releases. SM Entertainment
plays a totally different game in Japan, with both GG and Shinee. Japan is
the second largest music consuming market in the world. GG and Shinee are
allowed to be more mature artist when promoting in Japan. Both
conceptually and lyrically, they can push the envelope a little more.

Keep up the good work

Can you do the reaction for Shin Bora – Mis Match

MaroonTearLilium says:

I personally found the song a bit lacking, but the set was very nice. I got
a little excited when I saw the construction site (why…. haha XD because
it’s nice being outside I guess) I’m not a huge fan of snsd so I can
clearly decide what I like and don’t like from them. I prefer their songs
like RDR, Gee, the Boys, and Mr. Taxi. I’ve actually only listened to their
songs that have mv’s though…
The dance for this song was very good though, one of the better dances, I’d
say

I’m with you on that 3-quarter/shorts thing haha
