first time. I think SM writers use Google translate, haha!
Nice summary of why you like the song at 4:48. Your in-depth analysis of
the song starting at 5:42 was very informative and interesting. I enjoy
over-the-top gushing fanboy reactions, but I really liked your breakdown

I’m not one to know all these technical terms when referring to musical
compositions and it’s awesome that someone is reviewing all these K-Pop
songs using these terms and in so much depth.
It would be awesome if you were to go over some of this terminology in a
seperate video to help us music-theory noobs out there
Your review of this song has really put it in a different light for me.
I originally just wasn’t a fan of the song at all (apart from the nice
vocals and fair distribution of lines to each member), the song simply
isn’t my style.
Your review has made me appreciate all the dynamics and depth to the song
now ^^
Oh, and I cannot agree with you more about the whole ‘SM fails to use
correct English even with a fluent, English speaking member and that
crap-ton of money’ situation.

I had the exact same reaction with the lines! The dancer sung the majority
of the song. I always see people say that the dancer can’t sing and the
singers can’t dance. And this just proves both wrong. I’ve been waiting for
choreography like this since IGAB cause the girls can dance and I don’t
understand why Sm fell off with it a little bit with Mr Mr
And big ups to the dancing line cause that was a pleasant surprise. Like
it’s unbelievable for me really. This is sone’s dream come true, the day no
one believed would come. And this just proves we have vocal talents to back
up the SHY subunit.
I also think the purpose for release of a korean version was to act as some
sort of pre-release tease for the full korean comeback that’s rumored to
happen next month or for Taeyeon’s solo that was expected to happened at
the end of this month but idk. It’s weird cause Taeyeon was announced to be
working on her solo back in February and then yuri revealed they’re working
on their group album in like early March. So…..I don’t understand what
about to happen. Just make it happen quick Sm.
Nice reaction has always makes me look at the the song a very different

I also have a problem with the usage of English in this song. Tiffany
speaks perfect English so I’m surprised she didn’t point it out to sm that
that phase makes no sense. They have so many people who could have
corrected it!

gives Hyo, Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung a time to shine for once, the dance is

For those who where saying: ” snsd now without jessica are just TTS and
their dancers” which i saw a lot comments like that, is just a punch in
their faces. This proves how snsd don need to relly on their top singers to
actually sing. I think sm put a lot of thought on this and did a awesome
job showing the world that snsd are (now) 8 membres and not 3, even though
i am a huge fan of tts and my bias is seohyun. By the way another great

Im also shocked when yoona sing that vocal part! She slay it! N if u repeat
that part u can hear the diffrent how good yoona vocal than seohyun. She
has strong voice while seo has soft voice. Such an impress! this song is a
jam!
I didn’t like the song that much, but when I plugged in my earphones my
ears were blown away! It really sounds good if you have good speakers or
good headphones/earphones.
Finally a girl group who openly challenges any other boyband with their
dance moves!!! And that too SNSD!!!!! They’re the best!!!
I was sold in the first few seconds when Yuri and Hyoyeon got more lines
already than they ever get in other songs…… And then more Yuri… more
Yuri then more Hyoyeon??? is this a dream?
And not only that but in the choruses… FINALLY the dancers are in the
middle… dancers are in the group to make the entire seem like a better
dance group… (they shouldn’t be hidden in the back)
Plus i haven’t seen them dance this hard and perfectly since ITNW, every
step they made were together no mistakes caught on camera and left in the
MV. Plus the dance is already harder than what that usually do.
And as an f(x) fan that really pleases me, because honestly snsd was never
good enough for me in dances… it was just “are you sure they are sm?”
And yes Yoona finally, she did sound good, she sometimes got lines of
course but i wasn’t so sure, first time ever i actually really liked her
parts.
And with this making ALL of them sing… and still reaching perfect harmony
this is what makes me believe they are a great singer group… honestly not
giving lines to the weak singers and good harmony like that? what’s hard
about that? But like this it was perfect and everyone got to sing lines
they are able to sing.
Now i really want to support this single, so let’s hope for a korean press
of the single since those are cheaper… japan is always expensive -.-

igab,run devil run, and the boys, so far I knew..
I always love your reviews on songs MrJ. Unbiased and full of information
musically. I have the same feeling like you when I saw Yuri sings first in
this song. I agree on the english part, what does “dancing in real life”
really means btw lol. I don’t like when random english words are thrown
around Kpop songs, some don’t make sense at all. The concept, the dance,
the outfits are all great, only that I find this song is a bit repetitive
but after listening a few times, it somewhat grows in me.

sort of fierce concept on the girls! my only disappointment would be that

i mean as a Black Jack this track totally got the right par to fight over
2NE1 music,love the outfit,it for god sake one of the cloth that make them
look pretty much normal if they wear it again when they reach 30′s,make
sense!love the beat,love the vocal and crazily the least part from SNSD
member got the most in this track,impressive,so much love and respect to SM
this year,the power of KPOP going golblization,SM do and create what fan
want!and if this song directly transale into english it will be a huge
success,i can imagine this song were directly sung by Kes$ha or EDM style
singer like alexandra stan.and for the first time i felt like im looking to
girl generation as serious singer,it take me year!!!! im proud of this

Im Spazzing out . SM Finally gave SH2Y (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Yoona &
Yuri) the recognition as singers that they deserve..COME ON LINE
DISTREBUTION!!!!!!! ….. Tiffany was keeping up with all the heavy Choreo
OMG!! but from watching closely Sunny wasn’t and her execution of the moves
were at times a little late. Its also kinda weird hearing Sooyoung sing so
much on a Korean song tho and even tho this song wasn’t written with
Jessica in mind I feel like some of Sooyoung’s lines would have been given
to Jessica … I feel like her voice was meant to be in some of those
moments #SONE #Fighting
+MRJKPOP I don’t know why but every time a music video comes out I think I
hope he likes it or he wont like this. When I say he I mean you of course.
For some weird reason this doesn’t happen in my life but when it comes to
k-pop I always want your approval on the music because I feel like you’re

I absolutely loved this review! But I have a question for you… Did you
find the song a bit repetitive? I’ve been reading other reviews, and
people keep complaining that the song is too repetitive, and that the verse
is repeated way too much with “Catch Me If You Can.” I, on the other hand,
do not find it repetitive. I counted, and the song only repeats the main
verse 3x’s; and even on the 3rd time it repeats, the synthesizers pitch was
upped a bit.
So, again, did you find the song repetitive at some points? Now that I’m
sure you’ve listened to it quite a few times…

SHY is literally so underrated I sincerely hope they get their own subunit
so they have a chance to shine <3 This comeback wasn’t mindblowingly
