If this song is in regards with jessica, and they are telling us that they
wont look back, i think they were pertaining about the sadness, hatred
anger disappointments etc with the past and instead to look forward to the
future. There is still hope cause it says right there on the bridge that

paths are different but they will always be there for one another. We sones
should respect them and let move on, keep supporting them all. Don’t pick

They are not telling about one significant girl (Jessica). They are telling
us that they’ll never gonna look back. Together. I don’t know if they’re
telling us as OT8 or OT9. They kept repeating “Never gonna look back,
girls.” They are saying it as a group.
They are saying that they’ll never gonna look back. That they’ll move on
from… what happened before. I think it’s time for us to move on. It’s
just the way of the world. Some old wounds never truly heal, and bleed
again at the slightest word. But if you really love something, you have to
learn how to let it go. Yes, it can still hurt us eventhough we move on and
let go but it can lessen the hurting.

that even though Jessica had to give up her dream of being part of SNSD,
all 8 members are there for her. Even though they might not be together as
a group, the nine of them have each other’s back. They will move on from
what have happened these previous months and look for a brighter future.
Even if they don’t have the same dream anymore, the girls will keep on
pursuing what they wish for, and it couldn’t be more beautiful.
Maybe I’m just being delusional, and the song could be about something
completely different but I still strongly believe in OT9 :)

why do I feel it’s for Jessica and the situation with her?
But I can’t look back How can I ? How can you expect me to do so?
The song Girls was for her. I admire SNSD though because they protected
Sica in a way by not fueling the issue though Sica was talking ill about
them on her account. Just imagine if members with a very good image like
Yoona and Seohyun would talk back against Jessica. It would destroy all
what she have left.
It was clear that they mentioned that Sica regardless of what happened was
scheduled to leave SNSD after another korean album which was supposedly
released 4th quarter last year-first month 2015. It came to a point where
they can no longer work with her because her passion came first. She
wouldn’t be kicked out if she didnt have any fault. Because if it was
entirely unfair for her she should have sued SM Ent for unfair treatment
but no she cant because she knows she is also at fault. Let us just be
happy for Sica and the girls now.

I have the same feeling when I listen to this song and when I listen to
Divine for the first time which makes my heart is cry. When they sing about
being one and not looking back, my heart cries even more cause after what
happened to Jessica this is bullcrap. Both songs are very good and I like
both songs, but the lyrics are so bullcrap.
This is a song about ot8 rather than jessica, this beautiful ballad entails
that they need to look forward and move away from the pain, the melancholy,
the darkness that constantly creeps behind the 4-letter word “snsd”
whenever heard or said.
It actually feels that each member is talking to each other, trying to
embolden one another, while also expressing their own thoughts in the
verses about the incident that shattered their hearts from piece to
piece—we could fully feel the raw anguish that dived in to their bone
marrows.
But once the chorus kick-starts, their voices quickly adjoined in a
glimpse, adamantly-yet-vulnerably singing the line “Never gonna look back,
girls” to serve as a regular wake-up call to insist themselves to let go
and move on; cause now that it’s too late to turn behind, now that they
ventured in polar ways, and now that they have a future to withstand to.
This is probably snsd’s most heartrending and profound ballad to date, it
is resounding, rich, and authentic. It really did speak to their souls.

I couldn’t agree more with the message of this song. I guess it is time for
them to move towards their future and set aside the past that has tarnished
their name. GG Hwaiting! Sones will always be beside you!
This song could mean lots of thing..
It could be for Jessica & for the other 8, that all of them should put
behind what truly happen & start moving forward, achieving their own dreams
but will be forever connected in their heart..
It could be for SONE, that we SONE with OT8 should put behind the past &
open a new chapter stronger as a new SNSD with OT8..
The truth is, we will never know the meaning of this song or what really
happen between them until OT8 would gladly share it to us..
But for now, let’s just enjoy and continue to support SNSD OT8 & Jessica’s
works (music or else)..

behind me to look at, it’s still with me, the memory, and it will always
be. I will forever move forward with my girls feeling with my heart and
