I dont have all their albums sadly (I wanttheir Japanese ones sooo badly)
but I have their first album (the Baby Baby one), Run Devil Run, IGAB, Love
and Peace and MRMR as well as singles from their other albums. Love and
Peace is my favorite hands down
also PLEASE do one for their minialbums and something for SHINee
It’s so hard to pick favourite albums of any artist, but here’s my top 5 of
GG’s
1) IGAB (the first comeback I had with the girls! Love every single song
from the album but my top 5: IGAB of course, Baby Maybe, Promise, Express
999 and Lost In Love)
2) Love & Peace (once again love every single song but the ones I listen to
the most are: Motorcycle, Love & Girls, Everyday Love, Karma Butterfly and
Lips)

I think I’m the only SONE who isn’t in love with their first Japan album,
it’s actually my least favourite of their japanese albums, because it
doesn’t sound like GG to me. My favourite ones are Love&Peace and the Mr Mr
mini if we include mini albums
1. Oh!/Run devil run i love the whooooooole album i can’t hate on one its
amazing
2. Love and peace the whole album except beep beep i like it but its not my

I bought all the Korean albums, but I haven’t bought the Japanese ones yet
since I can understand Korean better considering I’m Korean. Now that you
all are saying that the Japanese albums are so good, I want to go buy it

Basically, all of their recent albums, haha.
No! The boys isn’t the only Soshi english song! Never forget Diamond
(although it IS a japanese one) and Cheap Creeper from the soundtrack of
BoA’s movie ‘Make Your Move’. Cheap Creeper is awesome – lets not deprive
it of the little attention it gets.
1. Girls’ Generation (Japanese Album) – “Beautiful Stranger” and
“You-aholic” are my number 1 and 2 GG songs, “Bad Girl” is pretty good too.
2. The Boys – “Trick” and “OSCAR” are my number 3 and 4.
3. Girls & Peace – “Paparazzi” is number 5, “Flower Power” is pretty good
too.
4. Love & Peace – Solid album all the way through, if I judged this list on
consistency, this would be number 1.
5. IGAB or Oh! – “Star Star Star” is my favourite GG ballad, and “Express
999″ is just another really solid song, but I can’t choose.

I am in love with GG’s Japanese releases. If that’s all they ever released
I would be happy.
I have to agree, I think the first Japan album is the best and honestly, I
wish GG had stuck with the style that this album introduced when they came
back with The Boys–I agree with you on that too, it’s like 2 mini albums
stuck together. As much as GG can pull off the cute concept they are
getting older and sometimes their music, to this day, flip-flops between
sexy and cutesy, and I just think the 1st Japan album was a great step
towards a more mature style. I don’t really have a top five album list but
I guess the Japan 1st album, RDR, and the 1st Korean album are my top 3,
the rest are equal. But Genie and Galaxy Supernova are my favorite GG songs
of all time.
I Love “Love & Peace” Album the best because all of the songs are different
but go together perfectly but my favorite songs are Motorcycle, Do The
Catwalk, Everyday Love, Galaxy Supernova, & Blue Jeans (I Count it because
it was a special edition song)

just reminds me of this great summer where I spent about every day at my
friends’ house, having karaoke sessions to this album because we loved it
so much, it was truly amazing.
With you on this Dylan. First and then third Japanese albums, Run Devil Run
then The Boys. I Got A Boy is still growing on me a bit after 2 years.
Yes it’s patchy but it’s worth going back to. For the EP’s, if you are
going to include TTS, strangely Holler is my favourite. Strangely because
it’s the newest, it’s only the subunit, it came out at a bad time (the
Jessica thing) and I don’t even like the title track. But the other 5 songs
are just blistering.
I’m interested to know… if Love and Peace is the best for you in terms of
the music alone, what puts the Girls Generation album at the top? Is it the
artwork? A music video? Just the memories associated with it?
