What are you guys talking about “She’s not that good”? This was *perfection*,
there was a long time when SNSD wasn’t doing anything to improve vocally,
and now they seem to have made progress. Everyone in the group is now at
least a mediocre vocalist, with the exception of Hyoyeon. This was an
amazing job: She was resonant, she was very clear with her words, she sang
open-throat, she did not strain, she sang within her range and within her
confines. This is the true idea of a cover, and this is what most K-Pop
idols should at least aspire to be as good as. Her voice also sounds like a
more clear Ariana. She’s not as good vocally as Ariana: Most pop singers
will not, but she’s pretty good.
Note: She also wore her hair like Ariana usually does, sans the bangs!
