I kinda wish I could see the faces of all the people in the crowd when
Tiffany got up there and started speaking English perfectly. I bet they all
looked around like “Wait a minute…” Lol~ It’s such a shame the crowd
reacted the way they did; there were way too many people there for there to
be that little bit of noise so you can tell they all were being a bit rude.
Good for Girls Generation though; they deserved it way more than the
others. <3 I’m not even a K-pop fan and I don’t know any of them by name
but they’re still such an amazing group.

It’s sad and awkward but it’s what happens when cultures collide. The
Korean music media industry is a powerful one, but not in the US. Marketing
reach in the US is very small so, it’s no wonder why the audience in NY was
so confused.
It’s not about the best most creative video. It’s about the strongest
marketed video with the most clicks. In Asia (a huge population) SNSD is
huge! Though in Korea, SNSD has a lot of haters, because let’s be honest,
they aren’t very creative and they are old now. With pop music it’s always
about the fresh new stuff.
As for creative Korean music, I absolutely love 버스커버스커! That music really
speaks to the soul! Check them out! Also, if you’re ever in Seoul, there’s
tons of indie bands playing in cafe’s. :)
How to be butthurt by Americans. It’s common sense to clap like???? Didn’t
your parents teach you manners? I’m sorry if they can’t accept the fact
that THERE IS music outside of the USA or UK.

the audience was so cold when they were announced as the winner. This is
why I am ashamed to be an American sometimes. They have no class or
respect. They should have clapped for them!

As much as I love GG..they’re not even youtubers. Which was the biggest
problem that YTMA had. I would much rather see a real youtubers such as
corridor digital or freddie wong win the video of the year because they
actually made, produce, edit and publish their own videos. GG are amazing
performers but all they did was show up to the video shoot. They don’t come
up with concepts themselves or film and edit videos. I highly doubt they
know their own youtube password and these are some reasons why people were
a little annoyed.

I’m glad that SNSD won this award but i’m disappointed in the audience, at
least clap. I hardly heard anything that I have to turn up my volume. But
it was working fine it was just the people. And what’s stupid is that the
other artists aren’t showing respect. That’s lame. And she gave a wonderful
speech yet NO ONE appreciated her up there. To sum it up, screw you
ungrateful people. (I’m american but right now this is not the people I
