To my understanding, Jessica was actually one of SM’s most prized trainees,
as she was being trained to be the next BoA. Which is why she has good
vocals, and very good dancing skills, but there was something that she
lacked, which was essence which is why they put her in GG. but honestly,
haven’t you guys noticed that Jessica’s voice and BoA’s really have the
same tone, and feel to it, that soft,light,airy sound. Which is probably
why she trained 7years 6months training.
@DawnOfIris Stop saying that she dances awkwardly because she’s fine. You
just can’t accept the fact that she’s actually a good dancer. I’ve seen
many, MANY fancams of Jessica in performances, and I can surely say that
she’s good. Her moves are smooth, sexy and she is spot on with ALL her
moves when she actually TRIES so what are you going on about with her being
awkward hmm? If she can’t be a main dancer then she can sure as hell be a
lead dancer.
if you noticed it, Seohyun dances very gracefully ad she looks the sexiest.
I know Yoona sway it up but it doesn’t look like as natural as Seohyun’s
moves.
@DawnOfIris It’s not because she couldn’t be but she had to focus on
singing cause she debuted as main singer alongside Taeyeon. She does say
that she gets tired fast and I think she had so many antis that something
in her snapped (after the time when she had musical) at some point and she
stopped trying as hard as she did during debut. Have you never come across
sone calling her ‘our lazy ass princess Sica’?lol And in the concert during
you-aholic, great escape etc she dances well.
@amylalaz123 Yeah. :)) actually Jessica said she used to be one of the main
dancers when they debuted but they put her in main vocals cuz she was lazy.

SNSD’s dance is not just about perfect sync. Its hidden beauty also lie on
non stop changing of different formations. They start with single column
and soon change to triangle and do this every 10seconds or so. They
constantly move one position to another without bumping to one another.
Often Sosi move to different position without looking back as if they all
have third eye. Their dance is now become a pure art…

@MrSnsdforever99 I know that. What I meant as Jessica pretty much
“function” as a face of SNSD nowadays. She’s a cover left and right for
many magazines and she carries SNSD’s name wherever she goes. The one that
Jessica was the main dancer was the thing that the question I was referring

ok, responding to jessica’s dancing and yoona being in the center. when
jessica started training at SMent she started out as dancing for her main
point (shes a great dancer), not singing. but later on sm told her to focus
more on singing because she also has the talent for that, so now she is one
of the main vocals in snsd. yoona is always in the center because thats
what she is!! i love yoona, but to put it bluntly she’s the pretty one
(although they are all pretty ><). she’s the face or snsd.
Wow, Yuri is so professional. SM is so good at keeping silent about this
dance practice video. However, I love it. p/s: It’s Girls’ Generation not

@DawnOfIris BTW again. You keep using the word awkward to describe someone
who clearly shows in this video that she’s a hell of a good dancer. To me
and most of the people here, she was the BEST in this video. So answer me,
how can someone you deem “awkward” be the best in a video? Exactly. Also, I
did watch The Boys dance and you know what? She was one of the best. You
either must not like Jessica, you’re obviously in denile, or you’re a troll.

@mandyyo501 but the point is, she doesn’t have what it takes to be the main
dancer. She’s an awkward dancer and if you keep on arguing that she was a
good dancer, hello, she trained for seven years! I am not graceful dancer
nor a powerful one but years of dancing makes me look like I am a good
dancer. Jessica dances awkwardly. It has nothing to do with her laziness. I
have a friend who’s lazier than Sica and she’s the best dancer among us.
