I noticed that as well, I think that the Korean Idols are taught to do
this. And you are right I have thought the same thing. Each genre is unique
people just need to appreciate music as music.

some of the biggest acts in the world like Pearl Jam have debuted on
Letterman. watching this is makes me think how even our TV is falling
behind. the stage and camerawork is terrible compared to Korean TV and
European musical direction

haha, i’ve realized from watching this that S.korean idol groups are really
on a different scale compared to American stars. Not better or worse, just
that from this i can see that each time a camera goes to them, you can tell
their eyes are looking directly at the camera XD Also i very much prefer
the dance of the remix version compared to the original, especially that
epic dance before Jessica’s part :D

is SO fulfilling and WOO. especially Taeyeon’s high notes, WOAH DARN. I
swear she sings better under pressure and DAMN her high note was… just
wow, wow. That smile after she finished it too
