Got to be my favorite performance and concert. The opening was epic, the
outfits are gorgeous (compared to the hideous outfit in Japan 2nd and 3rd
Tour).

Well how can they when they have “huge” events like this every other day?
SNSD has the busiest and most hectic schedule among girl groups, and it
would be harmful for them to keep singing like that back-to-back almost
every single day without a break cuz that would just strain their vocal
chords, and eventually damage them to the point where they would need
surgery and months of vocal rest. Would you rather have that?

There are about 8 other performances of this tour that you can look up to
see them sing live. Then there’s the acoustic version of Gee, Mistake, How
Great Is Your Love, Star Star Star, and all of their other title songs
performed on weekly music shows that has them sing live. They have a
backing track, but it’s only on the chorus and/or bridge and you can still
hear them clearly singing louder than the audio. All idol groups have a
backing track one way or another whether they sing live or not.
