Damn. Jessica’s adlib in the demo version gives me life. T_T Apparently
there’s another version of Genie. It sounds like the official released
version only that this time it has Jessica’s adlib/singing in place of that
dance break part before “DJ put it back on” iirc.

In the demo version, Yoona and Sooyoung’s parts are switched. For the 1st
chorus in the official version Yoona lead and sung that part BUT in the
demo version, Sooyoung sang it. In 2nd chorus Sooyoung sang that part in
the official while Yoona sang it in the demo version.
I think thats why they switched places in the dance practice video because
they knew the staff switched their parts.
This version sounds more soft and maybe even more feminine? Anyways, I love
their dancing here. Smooth and in sync!

What Hyo did was genius
That July 2009 live was amazing you could actually hear all their voices
live with no backing track behind them. Like wow you could even hear how
the dancing was affecting their voices. If anything thinks they always lip
synch they need to watch that performance.
